Musa sikkimensis Daj Giant
Sorry if this has been asked before....
Is "Musa sikkimensis Daj Giant" different than Musa sikkimensis? If so, how? Is one more cold hardy than the other, do both produce pups the same, how tall do each grow, etc? If Musa sikkimensis Daj Giant is a new species, where can you buy it....not seeds, not tissue culture, not ebay...which nurseries sell Daj Giant corms? Thanks! |

Re: Musa sikkimensis Daj Giant
The only place you can possibly find corms is from India where the seeds are sourced, and that will cost a bit. Your best bet is going to be seedlings on ebay in the next year or two. Otherwise your going to have to germinate some yourself because they are brand new on the market within the last 6 months.
Musa sikkimensis helens hybrid has been out for over a year, and it's a really rare to find it for sale, but ebay would probally be the first place it is offered. |

Tropicallvr, thanks! That was the information I was searching for.
I did an internet search for "Musa sikkimensis Darjeeling Giant" and almost nothing came up. It being brand new on the market explains why. |
