![]() It looks like your soil needs some organic matter added to it which would help the roots reach out. You might be keeping your soil too wet if you water every day which, in turn, can keep the soil cold and slow down growth. Moist soil is good but the roots need air in addition to water and nutrients. I'm guessing from your links that you're in Georgia but I don't know how warm your place is. As the soil warms up the thing should "take off" unless you've rotted the corm/roots.
Good luck! |

![]() Bryan, you need to get our more! Go visit Bryce Canyon, for instance: Trail through Bryce Canyon on Flickr - Photo Sharing!
That's oxidized iron. We've got some red soils around our area, all came down the Sacramento River from areas where they did hydraulic mining for gold some 75 miles or so away back 150 years ago. The rest of our soils are black with high organic matter levels. |

![]() Well, if I had more time and more money, I surely would. Optometry school keeps me broke and busy, though, unfortunately.

![]() Thread derailment, Thread derailment.............
![]() ![]() ![]() I've had close to the same temps but still no new pups. I have had some new leaf growth though. Be patient, just when you think its not going to grow, is when it "takes off". |

![]() Thanks for the encouragement, I'm going to buy another tommorrow for another location, the red clay look is typical north georgia area, my 10 windmills grow like weeds and must love the soil condition, same with the yuccas.

![]() I can say one thing your Windmills look great :^) Like Harvey said you might want to add something to your soil since clay holds the most water of any soil. Ok 2 things... Good Luck :^)
