Default What is this one? Supposedly a rare edible from Cuba

Hello

I got this one as a rare edible variety from Cuba, from a reputable European seller with many varieties in stock and no reason to falsify IDs. He actually got these for himself and it was one of the few extras.
I planted it last winter as a 30cm tall plant and it grew to a beast surprisingly fast and with no winter damage despite its small size. I was thinking/hoping it may be an Australimusa/Fe'i but it's way of growth kinda remindse of basjoo, which I am not growing though and cannot compare. What is it? Is it an edible? Is it M. basjoo?
Here are some photos:

Close ups

Base of pseudostem and pups. Pups at a good distance, longest observed so far on its first pups is 40cm away

Thank you very much in advance!

I thought so, that's why I asked... I will just wait for it to flower and I will take it out and give it whole to a friend. I have far too many potted bananas to waiste prime space on it.
