Default Very short plants

or have they been trimmed? (If so, that someone should be a makeup artist because it was not obvious.) I charmed my way out of a couple of pups but only if I dug them out with my bare hands. Which I did. Then, since I was waiting to be served lunch with a guy I met yesterday, I went and washed up. Having encountered the obsession of a musaphile up close and personal, he was amazingly cool. I tried to send 1 home with him; he said to pot them up and, if both take, then we'll talk. Generous, too. (Yes, he also sprung for lunch.)

Picture may not be clear but the plants are about 4' tall maybe. And the bud is quite petite. Any clues about what they are?

That was my guess. I suddenly have other SDCs that weren't free. Oh, well. I hope they taste good. For a while there I was getting Orinocos gratis; I think I have at least 7 now. I wonder when the "just take them off my hands, please" AeAe cycle will start?

Yes and possibly more like 3 1/2'. The flower is very small compared to the 2 that are growing in my backyard.
