Said "Welcome to Bananas" 458 Times | Unidentified Home Depot red? Got this a few weeks ago at the home depot $10 or so. The pstem has a good bit of red as do the underside of the leaves. There are no wine colored blotches on the leaves. What y'all think? Dwarf Red or something maybe?

I've read that Iholene varieties from Hawaii are recognized by the iridescent reddish undersides of their newly unfurling leaves. Not sure how likely that HD would stock Iholene, though. I think Musa "Zebrina" an ornamental, is supposed to share this characteristic. |
