Default Ornamental or edible?

This plant was recently given to me. Giver thought it was an ornamental banana that she bought at Home Depot. To me (a new banana lover), it looks a lot like my Dwarf Cavendish. What do you think?

The one pictured above was free. A work client mentioned she had a banana that she wanted to get rid of and I quickly volunteered to remove it. I bought a DC from Home depot last year for around $26.00. It was in a 5 gallon container, so a decent size.
