It is pupping also let me know what is needed for this banana plant Id
This is the link to the place I was talking about it. I wasn't interested in getting an Id but it now looks like it is flowering.

How tall is the p-stem, and can we get a picture of the entire flower bud?

I think it might be Pisang Awak/Namwah.

Personally, I don't love them as a dessert fruit -- store bought Cavendish are better -- though they are certainly better than no bananas on your morning cereal. But they are excellent cooked. Sauteed with butter, cooked as maduros, cooked green as tostones, whatever you like.
