Default Mystery AZ Banana

Hi Guys, I got this mystery banana through a plant grower that sells them for landscapers. He hadn't sold them in a few years, and they were in the back corner of the lot, looking rough. This one, as you can see was actually broken in half, and regrew, but the base was big and still green so I gave him a few bucks for it (pretty cheap, as it didn't look good for landscaping!).

He had no idea what kind it is, and I'd love to figure it out. He had several of them that weren't damaged, and the tallest ones (grown under a shade canopy) were easily 15-17' tall, with bases bigger around then my thigh.

Any ideas? I tried to wait to ask until it started growing again, as it gets some shade in my court yard, and waited longer then the rest of mine to wake up from the winter.
