Here is a link that have some Bananas........that grow almost inside the water........
The Palce is here in Brazil..............and the Area is dominated by Cerrado Vegetation...............with many crystal clear strems...............called "Fervedoruros"............ I made a Google Search with the words "Fervedoruros do Jalapão".......... And that´s what I saw............... fervedouros do jalapão - Pesquisa Google I don´t know what is the species of this Banana............. ??? Last edited by Yuri Barros : 08-29-2012 at 07:15 PM. |

I tried to dig up aditonal information on this species.............for now without sucess.............
It seems to be a native species..........very specialized in this kind of Habitat.......... As soon as I discover more informations I will post them......... Also I suspect that they produce seeds.............but I don´t know....... |

Seems to have redish Leaf Petiole............... I don´t know about the color of the fruits...............but they look dark......... |
