Can anyone tell me if a TC dwarf cavendish looks like a TC California Gold? I ordered both of these online and they sure look like twins. Hmm. Just wondering...

They might look the same at first, but as they get bigger they will start to look different. They are both dwarf plants. Also, there should be wine splotches on DC (which might not be visible yet) and none on Cali Gold.

I don't know of any legitimate seller offering tissue culture California Gold plants. Can you tell us how big your plants are and/or post photos?

In response to Sunfish, "This place sells California Gold plants."

California Gold plants never display red splotches. I'd guess that both of yours are Dwarf Cavendish.
Being in Anaheim I would suggest you try something other than California Gold anyways. |
