Re: musa basjoo
Hi...
How often do you fertilize and with what kind of fertilizer? I fertilize my musas with banana fertilizer plus I add miracle-gro a couple times a week. Not much sun out here in western NY and just recently has the heat arrived, so growth has been slow, but still mine have leaves that reach up taller than me. |

Re: musa basjoo
Welcome aboard, Mcardiff ! It's a friendly & highly informative place here. Basjoo is, I believe, a cold-hardy variety. Have one myself & it has shown very little growth this summer, also. Seems quite healthy, otherwise. May just not like heat. Unfavorable temps will slow a banana plant down.
Check with others here for more opinions and facts. Enjoy your stay! |
