Hi all!
Hello Everybody!
I'm Kbud, and I'm happy to be on the bananas.org forums. I found this forum through Google and through a friend. I am on another forum called FlyTrapCare: FlyTrapCare.com - Everything you need to know about Venus Fly Traps, and I am also Kbud on there. If you notice a guy on there named bananaman; he has helped me so much through teaching me the basics. I live in upstate New York and like to grow carnivorous plants, tropical plants, and generally unusual species. I have one banana tree that is growing like a weed and would be interested in trying some more varieities. I got my plant on sale for $1 and is labeled as Musa "Siam Ruby," but it is not showing the red coloration. Bananaman is suggesting that it may be "Margarita," but until it flowers, I can't be sure. Despite my pitiful collection, I would love to know more and get tips for growing these wonderful plants. Sincerely, Kbud

Re: Hi all!
We also have a member with the same name. Bananaman - he's very knowledgeable and supportive. Perhaps one and the same?

Re: Hi all!
Thanks, and sorry for taking a bit to get back on this. No, his username is bananaman on Flytrapcare and all other forums. However, he had to use the username jonathan_alexander or something like that on here because it was already taken. However, the bananaman on here sounds awesome! I'd like to meet him!
Thanks, Kbud
