Hello, everybody, let me introduce myself and please see picutre of our bananas
Hello, everybody. I am Peter from Jakarta of Indonesia. I am glad to find many people like you are also interested in bananas like me and my friends mostly farmer organizers and the farmers themselves in West Java.
I would like here to show our big bananas, locally called tanduk, meaning literally "horn". We grow them mostly in many districts in W. Java. But we come from the districts of Ciamis, Tasikmalaya and Garut, southeastern part of W. Java. Please do give us your comments on this picture and thanks a lot in advance. Peter, if you didn't say that you were from Indonesia, I would have said that somebody photoshopped that picture, lol! Welcome to our forum! Those are the biggest plantains I think I have ever seen. I did a quick Google search and came up with 'Pisang Tanduk'. Very nice.
