Default Hello :)

My name is Jarred, and this is my site.
These are my bananas:
  • Kru
  • 1,000 fingers
  • Williams
  • Apple
  • Ice cream (blue java)
  • Rose
  • Mysore
  • Goldfinger
  • Pink
  • Zebrina
  • Dwarf Red
  • Cavendish
...and some others that need to be ID'd.

As we stray from bananas, I have both orange bird of paradise as well as the much taller white birds, plus several types of heliconias, plumerias, gingers, palms, hibiscus, passiflora, cacti, bamboo, ornamental grass, aloes, and ferns.
In the works are two additional collections. One is of freshwater flora, and the other is of coral, coralline, anemonies, and other photosynthesizing marine life.

As progress is made in my collections, I will be sure to update everyone.

I look forward to meeting others with similar interests.
And so Bananas.org was created.

Hi Cliff,
I have some lobsterclaw heliconias that I could seperate and mail you some rhizomes (with stems). I also have some extra plumeria cuttings salvaged from around the neighborhood the day after Hurricane Katrina that I havent planted yet and could spare.
Let's talk in the PMB (private message board), ok?
