Default Hello

Hello Everyone! I have visited this forum several times but never took the time to register until today. I have enjoyed reading what others are doing with bananas and have looked at many of the submitted pictures. I have been growing bananas for over seven years now from a plant that I bought at garden store In Fort Worth. I over winter in a green house the potted ones and the ones that are in the ground just freeze off and come back the next year. That one plant has multiplied to over 85 plants today. I do not know what species it is other that it is a kind of slightly sweet plaintain and it gets over 20 feet tall if watered enought. This year my location has had a ideal growing season with plenty of rain and several are blooming or about to bloom will add some pictures tomorrow --PAJ53
