Hello , I joined this site in a effort to learn more about growing Bananas with particular interest in plantain cultivation. I am open for and healthy and informative discussions about these plants.
I thing its noteworthy to say that I am from the Caribbean, Trinidad to be exact.
I do look forward to learning from each other in this forum.

Welcome! Plantains aren't that much different from bananas, in fact growing them pretty much requires the same practices. The details all boil down to what variety or varieties you're choosing, if you plan to go organic or not, and how important quality vs quantity is for you. Because, truth is, how you grow the bananas or plantains greatly affects the lbs you get and how good they taste.
