Re: Hello !
Hi Xavier, I'm surprised that your nick (musella) was still available on this site. Welcome. What brought you to Indian Ocean? I thought that most of the French people living in tropical countries are situated in the French Guayana.

Re: Hello !
Welcome to the site! Hope you enjoy it here and learn a lot. Your English sounds great...I'm always amazed at how well people from so many places are able to do so well with our language...it's not an easy one, I know. Best of luck with your bananas!

Re: Hello !
Hi everybody,
For the record... My nickname is also my E-mail adresses. Because I'm growing up Musella lasiocarpa since 1990. It was a very very rare banana plant, in private collection. I come from Perpignan, a little town in the South of France, near Spain (30 km).And it's was also the first town in France were cultivated a musella lasiocarpa banana plant (and other varieties...of course !). Now, I live in Reunion Island, and it's the same thing... it's the first musella planted in the Island. In addition, it's blooming ! I'm going to take some photos and post them in a new thread. My little old creole house will be painted in the colors of Musella ... variants of yellow for the bracts and green, symbolizing the sheets. Musella has become a symbol, a mascot. My tropical garden, which will be planted all kinds of banana varieties will call itself the Musella Garden in french, Le jardin de Musella. So much for the little anecdote. I'll meet you in some time for the birth of the first flowering of Musella for the Reunion Island... It will be a magical spectacle. see you soon Musella |
