Hey bananaheads, I'm Laura, I'm from the eastern shore of MD. I've been growing Musa Basjoo for a few years with great luck, I have a 2 yr old red Abyssinian as well and a 1 yr old dwarf cavendish. I recently purchased a zebrina and seeds for a blood banana and a pink velvet. Trying to learn how to have some big beautiful plants!

welcome,spent 14 months at aberdeen proving grounds[love fels point]..ever any fruit from that DC.??

nope, the DC is still pretty young, how long do they take to fruit usually?

Shooter1 said dwarf cavendish needs to grow 2-3 years till it makes fruit. Welcome btw. and theres tons of growing information if you click the wiki link at the top of the page too. =D
