Sometimes I wish I could click the Thanks button twice.
Thanks everyone, all the wonderful feedback and responses means a lot to me.
So many responses thanked me, its the community though that make all this possible and make the site full of such useful information (and good times!)...
Really, the biggest thanks go out to each and everyone else, it's not about me :).. but, THANKS!!

Hi Jared, thank you for a really terrific site. I have learned so much since
joining. Now I know even in N.J. you can have banana plants. My collection
is getting bigger all the time.
Still going bananas in N.J.:ha:

Jarred, you have created a site that not only serves as a communication medium for all of us banana (and other tropicals) nuts, but also a place of friendship and camaraderie, Who would guess a few years ago that I would consider a 50 year old Malaysian who collected reptiles and tropical plants from the jungles of his country one of my closest friends, and would mourn his untimely passing with an intensity that surprised me. The plant sharing that takes place here reinforces my belief that gardeners are some of the best people in the world. And you have done this great service for us. I can't begin to name the other many friendships this site has started and nurtured. To Jarred- thank you for all this. To the other members- thanks for all the wonderful input. And to Tog- enjoy your cigars up there, buddy.

Wow... Ive been here almost 2 years and ..... what a place .. to say the least. Just came looking for a bit of info for my 2 plants and quickly accrued about 40 more:ha: Thankfully I cut that number in half while quickly gaining friends throughout the world! I've even met a few of you! There's no place else quite like here.

On a somber note I lost a friend many of us shared here too and was and am upset we didnt get to meet as planned..... one day we'll be sitting on a cloud up there puffing a cigar.....or perhaps complaining about the excessive heat:ha:

I just want to add a special thanks to the Admin! :D It may be members that make a great forum but it wouldn't even be here without him and all the hard work it takes to make and maintain one! Much thanks to Jarred and all the great people I've met here! :D
