Thanks to the Bananas.org staff for following through. Had given up being a registered member when saw a message in my spam section. It had my activation no.Voila! I have grown or have seen over the years many of the varieties mentioned in these pages. I have a weakness for the cultivar/variety called Golden Aromatic, and the many varieties that are collectively called Tahitian banana or fe'i, a subbranch where the bunch points straight up instead of yielding to gravity.I last grew one of these beauties in Honolulu about 11 years ago. The miracle of TC am sure could be applied here . Also the white iholena is very cute. There is a cultivar,a variety of Popoulu that is grown in Central America, giving a much bigger bunch. I once grew this ; am presently domiciled in N. California but would like to be reacquainted with any of these aforementioned cultivars. soog214

Welcome to the site! If reminders from the site are going to your spam email folder, simply mark them as 'not spam' and move them to the inbox of your email account so it knows to continue placing them in the inbox. Spam filters are a 'best guess' feature of email accounts to save you time, but sometimes things fall through the cracks. Hope you enjoy the site! There are lots of great people/resources here...see ya around!
