Hi, thanks for having me in this group.

I'm in Central Portugal and banana crazy. Will probably come here with many questions!

I'd love to share some pics but can't find how to do it :)

You can load pics in your gallery, they will need to be 2MB or smaller to down load.

Very close!. I started about 1 and a half years ago and now have Dwarf Cavendish, Helens hybrid, Snow banana, Black balbissiana and a few tropicals that I cant identify because some seeds got mixed up, I have one large one that I was given but I dont know yet what it is, it came from central and seems to provide edible bananas later but the owner didnt know what is was. I have a lot of seeds sown of different types of bananas but waiting for them to germinate and you?
For now Im growing them all in pots until I feel a bit more comfortable with them

No but the other ones will have seeds but a lot are still edible. The Cavendish wont do well everywhere in Portugal :)

Yes i know. I don't grow it, it's too tender for me. You should try dwarf namwah, rajapuri, dwarf orinoco or other a bit more hardy...
