Hi guys,
I have 2 young musa sikkimensis plants. Two days ago i noticed spider mites on the leaves. I put the plants outside and sprayed them with a solution of paraffin oil. I left them outside during the night. The temperature was around 10C (50F).
In the next day all the leaves were full of discolorated spots. I brought them inside again. Today the problem remains steady, but their growth has slowed down.
Do you have any idea what could this be? Maybe it is because in the morning the plants were in direct sunlight and the paraffin oil caused this? Temperature in the morning was not too high though (20C/68F maximum). I have used paraffin oil many times in the past on other plants and on an ensete glaucum banana without any problem.
I have two pictures but i don't know how to upload.
