Hi,
I purchased this tree, supposed to be a Gros Michel...it's doing very well.

But the pics of Gros Michels I see don't seem to have this much red on the leaves. Can anyone confirm that I did get sold the correct species?

What was the source?

BTW, your pot is too small. Try a 5-gallon for now.

yes, thank you. at the time I bought these I do not think he was selling or I was not aware he was selling. I will watch them for a time and then I will contact him.

GM has some light wine staining, yours is likely a Dwarf Cavendish... Welcome to the world of bananas. Nurseries almost all send whatever they want because so few can tell and even fewer care. Buy from reputable members here, Goin bananas in Homestead or get a mystery nana.

Yeah , it is Gros Michel , has longer leaves than DC. Marks will fade very soon when it gets bigger.
