I was wondering when someone would post about the demise of 2016 and birth of 2017. DIdn't expect a 13 hour delay but I'll take it.

A friend on another forum said " Let us hop and pray that this is a good year for all of us....". Typo? Maybe not because I plan to hop and even skip through the next 365 days unless this old bat falls down and get a very badly skinned knee. Like a skinned knee will stop me---broken leg? Hmmm....

Wishing everyone a "hopping" new year!

Nah, Brother-

I just assumed it was because of the thousands of miles between us, and the fact that Canada still uses rotary phones. :ha:

Actually, the last statement is unfair. I did actually find a pay phone in Levis last year, with push buttons on it!

Just kidding, my friend! :0519:

A bientot!

I'm sure. I used Google Earth a few years back to drop down where the motel I used to stay at had been; in between Pont Quecbec and Bl. Laurier, and it was gone. So was a lot of other stuff. Probably been built up commercially now. I was also sorry to see that giant light on the autoroute had been taken down too. That thing was iconic! Never in my life, anywhere else, have I seen such a big light at an interchange. It must have lit up over a square mile!

Let me know when you decide to visit!
