My Namwahs always seem to fruit at 8-10 feet in height, but I have one now that is 6 ft and about to fruit. I was shocked to see a preflag leaf half the size, and now the real small leaf with the bloom in the petiole. Why would it be fruiting now? I'll get some pics up later!

Are you complaining or bragging? Great time of year for a bloom. :D

Both I guess?! As long as I can get bananas out of this little shrimp!

did the pstem completely survive over winter or was it topped this spring. Just guessing that pstem has pushed the needed total number of leafs and it is time for the bloom.
Experts may have a better explanation.
Do you feed often?

I always dig up my bigger plants and store them in the garage until spring.

At any rate Congrats on the bloom - should be plenty of time to ripen..
Happy Growing :woohoonaner:

I just saw a Raja Puri 11 feet tall with fruit and a teeny tiny pup with a teeny tiny flower and teeny tiny fruit. It was only 4 feet tall.

I did not photograph the main bunch but I was mesmerized by the tiny pup so I took a photo. You can see the length of my shovel and the plant. My shovel is not vertical.

The main plant is at the back corner of Erbe's in Tampa.
