Oh yes, I believe Donations and Drawings shows largest balances in checking accounts, while the VbPlaza shows total checking + savings. Also notice that while you have a deposit pending, that amount won't be included in either list.

"thanks (http://www.bananas.org/f10/added-thanks-button-so-you-can-2650.html)
Thanks for adding such a cool feature!
http://www.bananas.org/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
I just installed a new feature called BananaBucks.
You earn BananaBucks for posting and replying to threads. You also earn for referrals and for other actions and interactions with the site (if you refer someone, have them give your username, not your real name, in the "referred by" field on the registration form). You can also donate them to others, use a banking and loan system, among other things. It's very robust, and the more you interact with the Bananas.org website, the more you earn. There are some things, such as picture uploads, and giving "thanks (http://www.bananas.org/f10/added-thanks-button-so-you-can-2650.html)", and saying "welcome (http://www.bananas.org/f10/welcome-new-members-bananas-org-3533.html)", that will be enabled as well.
BananaBucks will also be allowed to exchange for live banana plants.
I'll post more about this soon, such as eligibility requirements, rates, etc.
:twonanners:
I hope you enjoy this new feature, and use it well!
Yours truly,
Jarred

Thanks,

If bucks were only earned for uploading relevant pictures to the Banana Galleries (not the Members Galleries) and there was a quota + fee system for the member galleries, I believe it would be a triple-win situation.

I am at the TEM here in Greece, and that is an exchange without money, but with TEM . In my experience the problem that people can have is that they do not get payed for the costs, like i get TEM but i can not buy my perlite or vermiculite with TEM, or I make natural champoo for instance but i do not sell it for TEM since every champoo costs me 2.50 to make for instance. I don't know how your system works, but it makes me think of TEM. If it is something like that you have to realise that for instance somebody poor can not put things that have costed money , somebody who has money will therefore not be interested in what this person has to offer. I am introducing in the TEM something new , its called giving, I will put the ground full of usefull plants,( most of wich the uses are unknown, so nobody can say hey you are a farmer without papers?) And i see that even with people who are so conditioned in the moneysystem and were before trying to get as much TEM they could (as if they could put it on the bank for their old days or something) are suddenly thinking, he what can i give, what can i do.
The TEM is much better than the money system, but it is still earning, trying to get more for most people. The power of TEM is that it is you might call an exercise in democracy. It is the first step away from money, and it teaches us that anybody can make a moneysystem, that money is just paper that we all agreed on has a certain value. If a small group of people are able to have most of the money in their possesion, making us so poor that we have nothing to eat, we can simply decide all together that something else has exchange value now.(It will still take a long time before people realize that though) It can be bananabucks, TEM or anything, or we might come to the conclusion that we live much better when we just give where it is most needed. About your bananabucks i have mixed feelings, i mean do we need to get rewarded for saying welcome? I liked it so much that so many people said welcome,(thanks all of you by the way) if i would learn they are getting bananabucks for it, i would feel half as nice.
I do not say it is a bad idea, but for me you should discuss the pro and the contra to make a model that keeps for instance the welcomes warm, that things will not become about making money or other bucks. That you don't deminisch your good idea of the welcomes with buckmaking for instance. I am new here on this site, and i want to really compliment you. I will tell all my friends to become a member, i will find some pictures of bananas somewhere, and say welcome and thanks as much as we can , if we work on it as a group, we get 5 and 5 plants and have a plantage in no time. Thank you thank you thank you.
Before you see this as an attack , it is not meant that way, i honestly really love this site,I think you did a great job on it, i really would hate it if it would get spoiled, and greed can spoil a lot, it is the main problem of the times we live in. You can invite greed with bananabucks, i think you should work on the idea a little longer, to make it in a way greed stays out of it. I think good behaviour is not learned by rewards, i think it is learned by opportunity.

Banana bucks are essentially a valueless 'currency' that is really only exchangeable for other valueless items on this site. Although the description in this thread says you can exchange them for plants, I have yet to see anyone offer such a transaction. They have particular uses on this site (can't seem to find the page that shows what you can trade them for) but I don't believe they can be traded for any tangible good or service in the real world. Therefore, the welcomes anyone joining the site receives are not based out of greed, but are actually genuine. I believe the welcome button is just an easy way to greet people rather than typing a post. The fact that you 'earn' banana bucks when doing so is cool, but does not seem to be a motivating factor. There's really no reason to be greedy and attempt to accrue a large number of them because they aren't really 'worth' anything.

The link below at sunfish showed points to change for lettertype of your name etc,i think i did not understand exactly what he was planning, the give away banana plants worried me and rewards for saying welkome, but as i can see from the link greed will not accur to buy yourself this; put your username in italic. Got me worried for a minute, i maybe not go into banana's since they need a lot of water, but this is such a nice site.Have not seen sites with a welcome somebody button, then so much information, and love for growing bananas,it makes me really hungry for a banana, i wish they were all over the place. I mean except of the commercial ones.It is refresching to see people be enthousiastic in what they are doing. Here in Greece i see a lot of misery, and i am busy with politics quite a bit don't get me wrong, i will try to discuss the nonviolent (my opinion) and the violent (almost everybody elses opinion),but i also need to do things i enjoy, it seems that most people are forgetting to do that part. For instance they ask me how are you, i say i am fine, and they say a nah we say so, i say no i really am fine, and then i get a strange look, like i don't believe you. Now i think politics are not the boss over how i feel, i am. Now this is maybe far from your bed for you all, but i can tell you no matter what happens keep the love for what you are doing. I might not grow bananas, but i will jump to this site once in a while, it is inspiring.

Thanks,

Yes, it is. I have been on other messageboards, still am for that matter, but much less of the petty bickering here than others. It happens, sure, but doesn't infect everything and go on and on like some sites. It seems to be dealt with. Good set of mods here. Overall a happy bunch. The year listed in the "Next Bank Interest" statement has been in error since inception. I have always received interest. But your bank total seems very low given the years of posts and interest that would be collected.
Can you display a bit of your log showing the withdrawals?

My bank statement is just 20 transactions.
Here are the transactions in question.
2-26 -18 through 3-7-18
No explanation for the 1 year gap of inactivity between 2-12-17 through 2-26-18 .
The 2-12 -17 deposit is legit and is the first transaction/ recorded history on the statement.

I did purchase some items from the store which are not on the transaction log.
I did receive interest this cycle....but had not in the past.
