Ebay uk are selling a new red stemmed dwarf cav. Is there such a thing or is it likely to be another seller ripping off people with Basjoo rubra ?

They also claim to have a Zebrina Golden form.

I do have a Tandarra red ( not from them ) I wanted to see if there is a difference between them and Maurelii.

Mine is still a small plant but so far I can't see any difference between the two.

There is such a thing or at least i recall seeing references to it a couple of years ago on another uk forum but havent seen anything on it since. I have one from that seller and posted some pics of it in my album, also of the Zebrina but the pics i took of that are dire.

The pups i have of a dwarf cavandish and this cavandish red seem to have identical leaf structures, the only apparent difference being the stem colour.

I thought at first it may be one of these (Rubra) but it doesnt appear to be.

I bought a plant back in 2004 called a red Parthen and it looked very similar to this Red Cav

I must say what ever they are they look to be in very good condition.

Here,s my red parthen.
