nate that is so cool. one suggestion, run little lites up into the bottle to illuminate the colors of the bottles. but then you would have to puncture the bottles to let the heat out. i like the idea of the bottle tree. at first i thought you were planting pony tail palms...duh, i was having a moment. i think its a great idea.

Very nice!
Like mskitty said, it'd be nice to have lighting too, though that is a tad complicated
Are the bottles glued to the wires or can you remove them?

Nate, i have always had bottle trees. My people always thought i was nuts! I thought they were pretty with the sun hitting the bottles. I thought of taking a welding course just so i could make what your doing!
I have also strung pretty colored bottles together to just be pretty in the garden.

That looks good Nate. Unfortunately the shipping to Canada would probably cost as much as the Tree. It would make a nice change from the Rebar flamingos, copper cranes and other ornaments that are in my Yard.

That is very neat looking. I've never seen anything like it before. I bet the way the sun catches it would be very pretty. Reminds me of the bottle house I went to visit in Ryolite, NV. Not my pic, took it off google.

Hey nice tree you could put some low voltage led lights in the bottles hooked up to a adapter,,all that stuff you can get at a hardware store pretty cheap the whole setup would cost around $25 per tree to do,,hey maybe sell lighted and not lighted ones.just a thought take care.. im sure you could get $250 for a lighted tree!!

Very Cool!!! There is a recycle center in Ft Worth. that has all types of displays that were created from the scrap metal.. The one I like the best and would be very easy to make....LOL was out of what looks like about 8ga stranded wire that is unwrapped.. There is lots of it at different lengths and welded together and is a tree the stranded wire floats around in the breeze when the wind blows... I made a small one a few yrs back.. Theres is 15' or better...Next time I go in I will try to snap a shot..
