i didnt think that she would get here today till u posted that you got yours.when i read ur post i jumped up and went to the mail. 2 hrs later my dau. open the door and said lookie what i got. i tripped over my dogs, the coffeetable, and the couch just to get to the door. i know your happy, this is my third banana, and im waiting on num. 4.i was very excited. i told all my friends..they were not excited. cant figure it out. lol. happy to c that you got urs 2.

lol that is funny that you tripped over the dogs and coffee table in the scramble... I think I have 50 some odd plants and 15 different varieties... and yet it still doesn't seem like enough :D

all of this started when my mom got me one from pigeon forge tn. that was all she wrote.:2215: .now i im looking at amusa red jewel nana. i dont careif it makes nanas or not the flowers on it is worth it. im a plant and tree freek anyway. i have like 6 more after the jewel i want to get.... and that dosent include bromiliads, foxtail palm,gingers..etc.etc. im kind of running out of room in my den now.....:2791: . i dont csare, the couch came out of here 2 nites ago. ha ha all thats left i here is the computer..

yeah... I have 2 smooth cayanne pineapple plants, 7 lasiocarpa, 1 rajapuri, 2 orinocos, 1 dwarf orinoco, 1 velutina, 1 icecream, 1 dwarf brazilian,and 1 herans all in my kitchen! I am not even going to start on what I have in my living room, lol :D

i had a friend in ga. and she had one said it was a pain. i dont know anything about them. something else i can google. i do like to eat fresh coconut....i know they probable dont fruit. im gonna go eat a pomegranet!

my sunroom is nowhere near finished!i have 3 cinder block high. thats packed w/ insulation and the windows and walls are not up yet. ha ha its colder in my sunroom then it is outside. and its pretty darn cold. i think they said26 degrees. 80 degrees, hot and humid! whoooo. sorry i was having a moment.:discocrazed:

I have heard coconut is pretty tempermental when compared with other palms... but it seems to be doing fine for me... I have noticed growth rate severly reduced since being brought inside but it should survive till summer at this rate at least.

:woohoonaner: Sunrooooooom!!!! I would love to have a sunroom or GH but at this time it just isn't possible. Good luck with it
