| Banana Seed Germination Forum As one of the toughest seeds in the plant kingdom to figure out the keys to germination success with, this is a forum with banana seed germination tips. Please entitle posts like "Musa balbisiana," or "Musa cheesmani," etc. People would then post a reply under that heading, sharing their germination successes (and failures), what materials and methods they used, germination percentage, etc. |

I had one Musa nagensium come up in the past few days after about a month outside, I just planted in a small pot buried in the ground in full sun and kept it moist. Now that it's sprouted I moved it to a shadier spot (the full sun is good for heat but can burn up the seedlings if it doesn't rain). I hope it does well here, I will try to grow it full size in the ground if I can.

For a minute there I was thinking your crazy until I remembered that you moved from Colorado.
That's awesome that your sowing into the ground, should get some nice growth in a year. |
