Default Ice cream from Wellsprings

Ben and Jerry

These are the two bananas I received from Wellsprings nursery in Florida. ANy ideas on the actual identity? They don't look just like the Namwah I got last year as a Blue Java, nor do they resemble the Blue Java I got from a member here(actual blue java).

They are looking perky if a bit pale. We've been getting a LOT of rain.

They do have that tell-tale thin reddish leaf border and stem of a NOT ICE CREAM - namwah. Although, the red seems more pronounced on your plants than my namwahs.

If they turn out to be Namwah like my Abagnale, I'd be pleased. I just don't remember so much red. But I'll take healthy and growing any day!

The amount of red can vary with the amount of fertilizer or general conditions. I have some Namwah pups that are that red (from mats in my yard that I know are Namwah).
