I have a tree about 7 years old. It is a beautiful 12' tree, but I have not harvested fruit. The small fruit appear to get a fungus and then I get these tiny flies coming out of small holes. Has anyone had similar experiences? Any suggestions? I would pay an expert to diagnose and treat this problem. Thank you.

The fruit fly lays its eggs under the skin of the fruit and hatches after a period of five to six days. The larvae work their way into the fruit. The fruit fly then destroys the tissues and pre-disposes them to rot,
