Looking for either a Cocos or Highgate Gros Michel and a Musa coccinea for my potted nanner collection.

Small pups and TC's are okay. I'll be happy to pay as long as it isn't too spendy or trade a pup from either my supposedly Milky Way (hasn't bloomed yet, but has one pup I need to remove) or the Musa velutina...the pups I have are not that big though..about 12-14 inches and are US only.

Thanks, but its one of two dwarf Gros Michel types and a musa coccinea I'm looking for...only have so much room in the yard for bananas since they have to live in the backyard due to HOA rules.

Oh I love the smell of scammers in the afternoon. It smells like desperation.

A recent joinee of this board sent me a PM offering corms of M. coccinea. Unfortunately for him, I do research on offers from folks who are not established posters here...especially if their English gives away the fact they are not native speakers.

A Mr. randove of "Boston" gave me an email address that research online revealed was used a couple times for Cameroon-based scams for non-existent plants including the AeAe scam that was here on this site a few months ago.

I know this is getting off the original topic, but I received a similar private message which seemed like a scam at the time:

Breeze Brian , did you have luck getting the Ae pup? i`m aware they are scarced and still to be commercialized .if not you can check out Linda`s Garden by contacting Dibb Tonkel Linda via (lindadibbtonkel@yahoo.com), she has a variety of banana pup and seeds. She also has palms and other flowers.I do cross breeding and have a now healthy Ae plant which i bought from her garden.she could be a good resource for you
Best of luck
Gingin

I see that member has since been banned. The whole message was odd since I was never looking for an Ae Ae, I responded to a post saying I saw them for sale at a local grower.
