It has not be too cool here lately but even when it dips into the 50's all are metal frame windows sweat like crazy. Heat stays at 72-74degrees. Here in nc single panel windows is what they use, maybe in the colder areas not. In Ohio it was very cold in fall an winter and had storm windows.
Any one else have this problem? |

I live in Washington. Our house used to have single pane, aluminum windows which pretty much sweat from fall through spring; so, yes, I have had that problem. Another issue can be mildew (the black kind) when it stays perpetually moist to wet.
We have since replaced the windows with double-pane ones with reinforced vinyl frames. No moisture issues since. |
