hello all,
my name is ceri and i am from south wales u.k.
I bought my first banana plant last year and so far it seems to be growing quite well, i have kept the plant in doors this winter in front of the window but i think it will be too big for the house next year. The plant is a Musa cavendishii and is ment to reach 10ft at the mowment it is about 4ft when the risk of frost has passed i intend to re-pot the plant to a bigger pot as it is in a 10inch pot at the moment.

Thanks Island Cassie
but since i posted this thread i have had some bad luck.
When i went to re-pot the plant this week i grabbed the pstem and when i taped the pot to remove it the pstem snapped completely off.
However i have since been told that it may grow back at least i still have three healthy pups:06:
