Default Edging / Borders / Curbing

I just had my yard Curbed in, I still have a lot of work to do now removing grass and adding manure and mulch. Yesterday was a little cloudy, so the pictures are a little dark.

What has everyone used to make garden bed edging? I tried bricks, and I tried the black rubber borders, and even wood. I hope this last much longer.

I really like it. Is it concrete ? I could not really tell in the pictures. Looks like it will last a long time. I use to have concrete edging around my whole back yard I took it out I had changed my yard so many times in the past. Now I dont have edging. It looks very nice. thanks for posting nice

Yes, it is poured concrete. The front of the house is colored and stamped to look like bricks. But it is all poured, they just used a former machine to lay down the concrete. They also had to use a lawn cutter the cut out the areas where it was going to be laid first, then put down a layer of rocks to pour on top of. Thanks for you good feedback.

That is GORGEOUS!! If you don't mind me asking, what is the approximate cost per linear foot for the border? That is FABULOUS! I was considering raised borders with railroad ties, but I'm worried about Creosote...love the look, don't want poisoned plants!

I like it,

I like the finish. Saved you a lot of time I bet, and a lot of backache had you done it yourself.

Very nice effect!!

3.75$ a linear foot, color is extra and stamping is extra. Color price varies depending on the color you choose and the weight required to make that color.

Here are some of the different patterns to choose from, I know there are more out there, I have seen patterns that look like rocks.

Now I want to get someone to make me a couple Easter Island heads out of concrete and highlight them with some Solar LED flood lights. I also need to find someone who can build a flood wall in the front yard.

Heck Yeah! Saved lots of Labor, 3 guys did 280' feet in about 5 hours. It would have taken me a lot longer!

The only problem I am finding now, is the border's are so high that I am piling up mulch and it looks like my plants are all planted too deep. LoL not really a problem just a pain to keep buying more and more mulch. At this point I am guessing I need another 3 - 4 truck loads of mulch to fill these beds.
