Default Imagine my surprise....

There's an area of my yard that I rarely go to in winter. I have some stuff like bananas and gingers and brugs planted in there, some Micke Mouse taro, etc....imagine my surprise this afternoon when I cut through there and saw my Musa ornata "Hot Pink" has bloomed! I the dead of winter no less. I bought this plant off of eBay maybe 5-6 years ago, I don't even know if this is a valid cultivar name. Its not Velutina (I have that in another place in the yard) its probably a very light Lavendar cultivar, but it really IS pink.
