Default Is This Normal Or Do I Have A New Super Banana?

I have two Dwarf Cavendish plants in the same soil that get just about the same amount of light every day. They're both doing well but one of them is especially strong. Within a few weeks of being planted in its current location it sent up 3 pups and now grows and opens a new leaf every other day. The other banana has only one pup and develops new leaves at a slower rate. Is this within normal variation or have I stumbled upon an especially vigorous strain?
