Just what I always wanted another banana(ok an ensete), Just because I have 2 perfectly fine ones in the ground already doesn't mean I don't look. This one was going for $70 at the local Agway, it's been in a 5 gallon pot all summer. They just put everything on 50% off and this didn't have a price label but a 2 or 3 gallon was listed at 49.95 so I casually mentioned to the temp college student at the register that "the other one over there was going for $50 and half off...........I didn't exactly lie...........but got this for $25 and ran......fast.
Yep and I'm fond of telling others here that they're nuts!
You can't really tell from the pic but this is a fairly large thick stemmed specimen and is in a 20 gallon container I drilled some drainage holes in. Yep can't wait to see how the inside of the house fills up this winter.........I'm destined to end up like (you know who you are
