Very nice, Scott! Musa velutina is a tricky one to hybridize with, since the basal flowers are hermaphroditic and tend to self-pollinate as soon as the bract folds back. No question about your plant though, LOL! I'm curious though: Did you peel the bract back before it opened and apply the M. zebrina pollen, or wait until the bract opened? Did you remove the M. velutina stamens? I'd like to hear more about the actual procedure that you went through please! Thanks for the pics, amd keep them coming!
