Welcome to the organization Hollyberry Lady!

Dwarf Cavendish (DCV) and Super Dwarf Cavendish (SDC) would be excellent contenders for your banana growing efforts. I like the "double" sometimes refered to as "Mahoi" which is a Dwarf Cavendish type.

Make sure your pot can drain so that there will be no "standing" water in it. Standing water in the pot causes root rot in many banana cultivars.
