I don't know if anyone remembers, but last winter '07-08, I believe BayNews9 did a piece on Lakeland's freezing strawberry problem. In that headline they were discussing the use of Anti-Freeze for cars. They said it wouldn't hurt the plants but probably not safe for consumption! I got pretty cold here a few times hit freezing over night, but I didn't lose a single leaf, and I certainly did not use Anti-freeze. |
