Hi Chris, I can check it out soon cos have some other stuffs some of the other guys want. I just uploaded some pix of a couple of caladiums. I am still actively and crazily collecting them. The pix below is another mutation I picked up some years ago. I found it as an all Green small plant which I thought had some potential and it didn't prove me wrong. It's an
Alocasia macrohiza which I call
Picasso cos as the leaves get big in full sun, it breaks up into splintered segments over a strong Yellow colored base. It looks like an oil painting to me. The hotter the sun, the better the colors. The leaves get big to 3+ft, in fact it got too big for my house and now it's in the ground at my nursery.
Araceae is fun here cos if you got a keen eye, you can spot mutations at the nurseries which the people are unaware.
