Some weeks ago, I had posted a notice about the workshop, on a couple of other forums, to try to get some more people. From one of the Garden Web forums, I got a real dopey reply. The guy was confusing TC with gene modification, and was denouncing it. Well, now we have another doozey; this one fro Garden Web's Professional Gardener forum.

I'd leave tissue culture alone. It's easier to take a cutting and get the same plant. There is no market for it!
It's already being done and you are lucky to have someone buy one plant. What good are a hundred plants when only a couple will be sufficient.
This is a dumb ass idea for a workshop
Ohhhhhhhh, just give me a link to this one, please! I really would love to respond. It's backwards thinking, outpoken, ignorant morons like this that get my blood boiling.

On second thought, Naaaaaah! Ignorance is bliss. Let them be blissful!
