Smile Musa Manzano

Hi,
I just received a Musa Manzano pup(thank You Fernie). It's Huge
I was just wondering how deep I should plant it?
Right now I am planting it in a container that I will keep in the house until spring.
I'm planting it in compost.
Was also wondering when I should start to water it as well?

Eventually when it is big enough and ready to move outdoors I want to plant it in a Half Wine Barrel so that I can better protect it come winter.
Will it still pup/bare fruit?
Any input anybody has on this would be great.

Any help is always Welcome
Thank You
Les
