Yep, I agree with Richard its all relative. I think it all boils down to what you really enjoy. I have been collecting plants for a very long time. I am the kind of idiot who
must have anything
rare or
variegated and who always end up broke from this bad obsession!
Now I have stopped counting the number or varieties/species I have. I just make sure they are in very good condition and growing. I do not propagate my plants on purpose as I do not sell them(I need all the space I can get!). My house is small, so I keep only the ones which need extra care here. The rest are in my 3 acre nursery.
I don't consider myself 'big' or 'tiny' in plants but
'happy'!
