Mauro, here in southern CA we have had no luck air-layering (marcotting) fruiting persimmon species, such as:
Japanese Persimmon (Diospyros kaki),
Black Persimmon (Diospyros digyna),
Date Plum (Diospyros lotus).
If you have a technique for these fruits I would really be interested !
