Default Musa Sikkimensis Darjeeling Giant(and E. Glaucum) update

:woohoonaner :
You won't believe it! I'm still in shock. After reading how tough it can be to get a nanner seed to germinate , and figuring to never try it again I came home to fing a Darjeeling Giant sikkimensis seedling sprouted!!!! You've seen the ad on ebay where I got it , 4 seeds each of Regular, red form and daj giant seeds from Ireland. I got mine a little less than a month ago (right after starting some Ensete Glaucum seed). I soaked them all for 2 weeks each variety in a shot glass and planted in the tiny cells (72pack) I would start lettuce in.,in some seed starting mix. I put these on the heat mat I use for tomatoes in the spring. Well it's less than 2 weeks since planting and one has shot up over nightabout 3/4 of an inch. Apologise for no pictures my didgital camera has gone missing but I'll get some up ASAP................Now I've got to go find out about this plant!
