Oh they did at the time, and curiously the edition in question has been removed from the web. But this wasn't the only society affected. The
real point I was making in the first place was that if the book
The Incredible Pomegranate had been published by something other than a vanity press, then none of this would have happened, the quality of the book would have been more robust, and the marketing of the book would have been much more straightforward.
