Talking Re: Request for help for annonymous IBS member

Thanks you guys.
I pulled so many pounds of burmuda grass from my beds that I nearly gave up on it. After the rains, the weeds won the battle and I'll just leave them till I can get a more robust mulch. The stuff I have is animal bedding from the equine center and it's 10" or more deep in some places. The problem is that it's full off animal waste and stays very dry....perfect for Bermuda.
You can see some of the little Ensete seedlings and plantlets in the grass. I'm going to leave them out (far too many to pot) to see just how big they MUST be to survive the winter here(they range from 8 inches to 3 feet now). There are Ensete every 3'-4' so if they survive there will be no sunlight for weeds next year.
There are a lot of bare spots now from Gustav and my sharing. I'll fill those with Dwarfs and Ensete next year.
